Frequently Asked
Questions

We have the most common questions answered for you below. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
There were several factors that went into the decision to transition to card and mobile payment-only transactions. Faster. Eliminating the need to make change allows for quicker transaction times and lower wait times, making the guest experience even better! Efficiency. The cashless model allows us to operate more efficiently and effectively, giving our team members the opportunity to focus more on you, our guest. Safer. Keeping guests and team members safe is the number one priority for us on the farm. Cashless models have proven to be a safer model to implement across the retail and hospitality industries.
We accept all major types of card payments that our POS system accepts. We also accept all digital, contactless payments that Square accepts, such as Apple Pay, etc.
Yes. However, we recommend against it. If you come with cash and not with credit, debit, or mobile, there is one option available. A cash-to-gift card option is available at Gotcha Covered. Guests will be able to transfer cash onto a Kersey Valley gift card. The gift card can then be used throughout the farm for purchases.
If you have money left on your gift card the value that remains on the card can be used at our farm on future dates. It will not expire. Or you can go to Gotcha Covered and receive cash back for any money left on the gift card.

New procedure to see Santa, now you must purchase a photo package in order to see Santa. Only 120 families per night are available to maintain on time. A strict 2 poses per family to respect the time of others is in place. So, if you bring a large family to see Santa you only get two poses. This was a major issue with large families taking up valuable time making the wait times for Santa go way over limit. You have been warned!

Proceed to Santa’s Workshop once in the park, see the staff at the exit of gift shop and provide proof of photo package purchase, then you are allowed to join the virtual que. This allows you to walk around and enjoy the lights, grab something to eat or drink, partake in one of our other activities, or get warm while making smores over an open fire. This allows us to limit the capacity due to the demand to see Santa.

All military personnel with ID can Buy One Get one ticket free at the ticket booth. If you already purchased your tickets online you can pick up a free ticket at the ticket booth with your military ID. Only one free ticket per ID is allowed. We decided to offer this as vettix.org was sold out within hours and this is another way to thank you for your service.
Since capacity is very limited we will sell out most nights, so walk-ups could be turned away once we reach capacity. As with any of our events parking can take up to 1 hour. The objective for us is to make an evening where you get in quickly and have fun with the whole family participating in the activities. While having fun out on the farm you are actually waiting in line to see Santa, the Grinch, and the Train ride by using virtual queue line technology. What an idea! DON’T WAIT PARTICIPATE

Santa, Grinch, and Magical Carriage photos are sold onsite, do not lose the photo pass card we give you as this is the only way to purchase your photos. We also use a virtual queue system to allow your family to enjoy the farm instead of being stuck in long lines to see Santa, the Grinch, and the Kersey Valley Express train ride.
All of the activities are outdoors, please dress for the conditions. The only heated areas are Santa’s Workshop and the restrooms.

We are proud to offer state-of-the-art restroom and kitchen facilities that are as nicest you will find around. Just because we are a farm does not mean you have to live like a pig! 🙂

Well over 1 million lights across the nearly 100-acre farm.

It takes months of planning ahead to organize the event. Many items have to be ordered in January to arrive on time since many items are made overseas. We start installing the lights in August to be ready to open the day after Thanksgiving. We have a team of elves that go crazy and decorate the farm.

While you and your family and friends are riding on the Christmas Wagons that go around the farm we have set up Rudolph light displays hiding in the woods. See if you can find them all by calling out “Rudolph” when you see them. It’s a throwback to the “Punch Bug” game many of the parents played growing up.
Protect your purchase from unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from attending by adding Ticket Protection.    If you decline, you acknowledge that there are no refunds. No Shows = No Refunds
